A New "Do"

About six months ago E. took a turn at cutting her own hair....without permission, of course :) we had a long tearful discussion about who should be cutting E's hair and she promised me she would never do it again....HA! Famous last words.....a few weeks ago she came upstairs and had given herself a "mullet"! Oh my....I was mad. I know, it's just hair, but it's the second time she has done  this.....
Anyhow, the lovely and talented Julie fixed the mullet yesterday. Here's the new pixie cut :) on the pixie at the pool...

  1. Oh my--I know just how you feel. The first time Hannah cut her own hair, I had stepped out of the room for just a moment while we were doing crafts and had the child scissors out. When I came back in I found big strands of black hair on the floor. I gasped and couldn't hide my initial "oh No" but then tried to keep my cool and just have a discussion about it. Just like you I thought it worked. then one day when I was so sick I fell asleep on the couch. When she woke me up she was saying "Mom, can I keep my hair like this?" I looked to see how she had it and she had extremely short spikey bangs--when I went to sleep she didn't have bangs at all. Oh My--that took a long time to grow out and it was not something I could hide. But it did grow out and you would never know now.
E still looks really stylish and cute-the short look is good on her, even if it isn't what you had in mind.
