The first time H...Oh my--I know just how you feel. The first time Hannah cut her own hair, I had stepped out of the room for just a moment while we were doing crafts and had the child scissors out. When I came back in I found big strands of black hair on the floor. I gasped and couldn't hide my initial "oh No" but then tried to keep my cool and just have a discussion about it. Just like you I thought it worked. then one day when I was so sick I fell asleep on the couch. When she woke me up she was saying "Mom, can I keep my hair like this?" I looked to see how she had it and she had extremely short spikey bangs--when I went to sleep she didn't have bangs at all. Oh My--that took a long time to grow out and it was not something I could hide.
